Register now for our annual ETF Open University Summer Colloquium featuring inspiring academic courses which intersect theology, church and society:
- “Mission in the Context of World Christianity”, by Dr. Bosco Bangura (ETF Leuven) and Prof. Dr. Benno van der Toren (Protestantse Theologische Universiteit)
- “Jonathan Edwards’ Ecotheology, Ecospirituality, and the Witness of Creation”, by Prof. Dr. Lisanne Winslow (ETF Leuven)
- “Suffering in the New Testament from a Perspective of Honor and Shame”, by Dr. Myriam Klinker-De Klerck (Theologische Universiteit Utrecht)
This international study week includes lectures, various activities and times for meeting and reflection. The Summer Colloquium is required for ETF Open University students, but is also open to interested people who have completed university studies, current students from other universities, pastors, teachers, staff members of (Christian) organizations etc.
ECTS
Participants receive proof of credits upon successful completion of the course. The workload for this course is approximately 140 hours (5 ECTS credits). Participants will be required to prepare for the course through assignments distributed in advance and during the week. At the end of the week there may be a final examination.

The rates for the Summer Colloquium have increased compared to 2025. This is due to price increases at a third party.

**If guest participants decide to enroll in our Bachelor’s or Master’s ETF Open University program for the academic year 2026-2027, they will receive a reduction of € 200,- on their tuition costs.
