Summer Colloquium '21

Because of the COVID-19 measures, ETF Open University Summer Colloquium will take place online this year. Participants will be able to follow one of the three inspiring academic courses from their own location:
- “Minor Prophets, Major Theologies” by Prof. Dr. Daniel Timmer (Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids, MI, and Faculté de théologie évangélique in Montreal, Canada)
- “Economy, Ethics and Theology” by Prof. Dr. Michael Northcott (Universitas Gadjah Mada Graduate School in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and ETF Leuven)
- “Voorgaan, vieren en verkondigen” (in Dutch) by Dr. Ciska Stark (Protestant Theological University, Amsterdam/Groningen) and Dr. Filip De Cavel
This international study week includes lectures, various activities and times for meeting and reflection. The Summer Colloquium is required for ETF Open University students, but is also open to interested people who have completed university studies, current students from other universities, pastors, teachers, staff members of (Christian) organizations etc.
ECTS
Participants receive proof of credits upon successful completion of the course. The workload for this course is approximately 140 hours (5 ECTS credits). Participants will be required to prepare for the course through assignments distributed in advance and during the week. At the end of the week there may be a final examination.
