Opening Academic Year 2020-2021

The official opening of the Academic Year 2020-2021 of the Evangelische Theologische Faculteit, Leuven, will take place on Monday September 21, 2020, at 8.00 p.m. in the chapel of the faculty.
Prof. Dr. Jan Hoek will present his farewell lecture as Professor of Systematic Theology entitled:
God is goed. Theologie als doxologie.
The lecture will be in Dutch.
The official ceremony will be followed by a reception.
Due to the current corona measures, we will exceptionally also offer this official opening ceremony via livestream (see bottom of this page). Thus we can guarantee sufficient social distance for the visitors and any interested party can follow the ceremony: either on campus or online. For both possibilities we ask you to register before 6 September 2020.
Professors of other universities are welcome to walk in the procession (in their academic regalia). We also ask them to register before 6 September 2020. They are expected in LCCS room 0104, no later than 7:45 p.m. Taking into account the measures then in force, the procession will be composed at that time.
