The official opening of the Academic Year 2021-2022 of the Evangelische Theologische Faculteit, Leuven, will take place on Monday, 27 September 2021, at 8.00 p.m.* in the chapel of the faculty. This opening of the academic year also marks the start of our 40th anniversary year.
Prof. Dr. Koert van Bekkum will present his inaugural lecture as Professor of Old Testament entitled:
‘But as for Me and My House, We Will Serve YHWH.’
Joshua 24 and Christian Theology in a Context of Religious Plurality
The lecture will be in English. The official ceremony will be followed by a reception.
