The specific teacher training program (SLO) is a one-year DEGREE program (in Dutch) leading to the degree of teacher. The program consists of a theoretical and a practical component (internship) of 30 credits each.
The specific teacher training program is linked to the Master of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies program. The theoretical component can be entirely integrated within the specialization Religion and Education. This means you can start the Specific Teacher Training Program during your Master’s program, or you can follow it thereafter. By law, you cannot receive your degree of teacher until you have finished your Master’s program.
When you have obtained your Master’s and teacher’s degree, you can work as a teacher of Protestant and Evangelical religious education.
