Master’s Degree

The Master of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies expands and deepens the Bachelor’s degree program.

The Master’s program consists of 120 credits and takes two years of full-time study. The program is taught in English. Our Master’s program therefore not only attracts Dutch-speaking students, but also other European and international students of theology.

Besides attention paid to fundamental and methodological questions, the program provides a multitude of courses which zoom in on specific themes. Research skills and personal theological development are strengthened through tutorials and seminars. At the same time, the curriculum offers various possibilities to acquire skills for a leadership or pastoral role.

In the master’s thesis, you learn to make an independent contribution to theological research.
