Bachelor’s Degree

The three-year academic Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies offers you a firm grounding in Christian thinking about God, Church and society. With attention paid to the relevance for today, source texts for theology are studied together and put in a sound framework.

In the first year, you familiarize yourself with academic study, the theological disciples (Biblical Studies, Historical Theology, Systematic Theology, Practical Theology) and religious studies. You also learn how to study the Bible in the original languages of Greek and Hebrew.

In the second and third year you choose subjects of particular interest to you within one of the three specializations. At the end of your studies, you are ready to enter our Master’s degree program. You will also be equipped with the basic knowledge and skills to be deployed in society and the Church.
