LEUVEN – 18 December 2014 – In the spring of 2015, administrative director Pim Boven will be relinquishing his post at the Evangelische Theologische Faculteit (ETF) in Leuven and is going to start work as the managing director of the Protestant Theological University (PThU) in The Netherlands. Since September 2003, Pim Boven has been linked to the ETF, initially in the position of Head of Administration and Logistics Services, at what was then still the ‘Belgisch Bijbelinstituut’ (Belgian Bible Institute), and later he became the Administrative Director at the ETF.
Rector Prof. Dr. Patrick Nullens: “We are very grateful for the great dedication and contribution of Pim Boven to the development of ETF in the past eleven years. Soon we will have to bid farewell to a highly professional and inspired member of the managerial board, but the staff, the students and the board wish Pim Boven and his family the very best for their return to the Netherlands.”
In the coming week, in cooperation with the other members of the Executive Administration, the Board of Trustees will be starting a recruitment and selection process in search for a candidate for the vacancy arising.

Pim Boven studied business economics in Groningen and then worked in banking. He transferred from being a bank manager to what was then the Belgian Bible Institute where, together with the rector Prof. Dr Patrick Nullens and the dean Prof. Dr Andreas Beck, he faced the significant challenge of transforming the institution into an academic faculty.
