Transportation

• Train transportation from the Airport to Leuven Train Station:
  A train ticket from Zaventem to Leuven is approximately €5 per person.
  The airport city express train from Zaventem leaves at nine minutes past the hour and arrives at Brussels North train station at twenty-four minutes past the hour.
  You then have five minutes to reach track 6 where you will take the IC (intercity) train to Luik (Liege)/ Maastricht (being sure not to confuse Leuven with Louvain-la-Neuve). The train leaves at twenty-nine minutes past the hour (or one minute before the hour). The first stop is Leuven, sixteen minutes later.
  
  
• Bus transportation from the Leuven Train Station to the ETF:
  The bus line is located to the right as you exit the front entrance of the train station. There are three buses that come by the ETF. Look for bus number 7, 8, or 9 with destination "Egenhoven - Bertem" (the destinations are listed above the windshield). There is a bus stop directly across from ETF which will be a huge building on your left about one kilometer after entering St. Jansbergsesteenweg. Ask the driver for the bus stop across from the "old Jesuit Seminary" if you feel you need to. There are not many buses that leave the train station and go to the ETF late in the evening. The last bus leaves at 22.54.

• By car from the E-40 (Brussels-Liege):
  Take the exit onto the 314 (Leuven-Hasselt-Genk). But immediately bear right because the exit onto the connector to Leuven-Centrum is only about one km. from the E-40. Go on the connector only about one kilometre to the first traffic light, where you turn left. The huge building of the ETF will be on your right after about 200 meters.
  
  
• By car from the E-314 (from Limburg):
  Take exit 15 toward Leuven-Centrum. After about one kilometre on the connector to Leuven-Centrum you come to the first traffic light, where you turn left. The huge building of the ETF will be on your right after about 200 meters.
